Skip,

They no longer ship to the U.S. They also hope to have an
outlet in the U.S. for shipping within the U.S. & Canada.

Not bad looking, but I still prefer pleats.

I think they look shapeless and dull. If overkill on bland plainness was intentional, then I guess they are a triumph. Pleats might add to my enthusiasm, but I doubt it.

For sure they are shapeless. But honestly speaking men are rather shapeless, too. There is not much difference in hip and waist measurement. If you're "man of a substance" (overweighted) then your waist is even bigger then hip. Not always true but quite often.

In general they really look rather dull. They could do something to make them more appealing, but that costs, right? Even skirt I made out of old trousers looks much better.

I agree that the skirt is rather dull and shapeless, I also think as it is so long and narrow that the leg strides would be restricted.

I may be unusual but my waist is 8 inches less than my hips, so the skirt would not fit well at all.

Don't hit me, but maybe women in China don't wear denim skirts and so have no clue how to make them correctly. Chinese women probably wear what all other women wear..PANTS.

Maybe it’s a cunning plan, put a man in one of those and you don’t need chains, as he’s not going to be able to runaway without falling over. ;)

If they are designed in Chine, than this is completely true, what you say. I remember first garments that hit our market from Chine. They were simply unwearable, I don't know what norm they fit to. Could be the same case here.

My waist to hip difference is 5 inch only (or if I measure with some reserve 4 inches only). In case of women this is 8, 10 and up...
